About us
The Oxford Meditation Society organizes meditation courses, drop-in sessions and special events at various Oxford colleges. Our programmes are run by members of the University of Oxford and attended by members of the University.
Our aim is to promote meditation in its purest sense, removed from myth and superstition. Meditation is a technology which enables one to achieve sharper concentration, stress relief and inner peace.
Life in Oxford can be both productive and enjoyable. By integrating meditation into daily life, one can work with focus and not stress, become more composed and ultimately establish oneself in a deep sense of peace and contentment.
